Most talented people don’t make it. And most who do, don’t make it as big as they could have.

Sometimes it’s because their talent was overrated. But usually, it’s because their mindset created a ceiling for their performance.

I played with 20+ guys who made the MLB. I also played with several guys who were offered $1M+ signing bonuses and never made the Show.

Wanna know a secret most fans never think about? Most of the guys who made $10-$25M could have made $100M if they dropped their limiting beliefs. If they were only able to maintain the irrational self confidence they held at the amateur level.

One of my friends who made > $50M called me the other day, telling me what a shitty mindset he had, basically his entire MLB career.
